Open any product page on this site and you will find a line naming the company that made the item, and a note saying ERAFAV is an independent retailer with no affiliation to that brand. That is deliberate. Here is the reasoning, because it also tells you what our promises are worth.
What ERAFAV is
We are an online-only shop. We select styles from brands and distributors, buy them, and resell them. We do not design, manufacture or commission anything. We are not an authorised or official dealer for any of the brands we carry, and we do not have their permission to speak for them.
That last sentence rules out a lot of things shops normally say. We cannot offer you a manufacturer’s warranty, because we are not the manufacturer and we are not their agent. We cannot confirm a material to a standard the maker has not published. We cannot tell you what is coming next season.
What it means for the product information
The photographs and the specifications on each page come from the manufacturer or their distributor. We reproduce them as published. We have not re-shot the goods in our own studio, and we have not physically sampled every style before listing it.
So when a page says “65% polyester / 35% cotton”, that is the maker’s figure, not a test result we commissioned. Every listing carries a line saying as much. If you need a claim independently verified — metal content, fibre content, a safety certification — we are not the right source and we will tell you so rather than guess.
What we do commit to
- The listing describes the item we actually ship. Same brand, same style, same colourway as the photographs.
- If we find something wrong, we fix it. We have removed images that turned out to show a different item, deleted claims we could not source, and unpublished a product whose supplier record pointed at the wrong shoe entirely. That work is ongoing and it is not marketing.
- Sold out at our supplier means sold out here. When the source cannot ship a size or a colour, we take it off the page rather than take your money.
- Somebody answers. care@erafav.com, within one business day, Monday to Saturday.
Why say all this out loud
Because the alternative is letting you infer something false. A shop that shows a brand’s photographs, uses the brand’s specifications and never mentions its own role is inviting you to think it is closer to that brand than it is. We would rather be plainly a reseller than ambiguously something better.
It also sets expectations correctly on the things that annoy people most: delivery takes 5–10 business days because the goods ship from Hong Kong, and a change-of-mind return costs you postage to send back there. Both are on the product page, before you pay, not buried in a policy you find afterwards.
