How to measure your table

Remember that the four racks sit on the mat, so you want the playing area in the middle to stay clear.

Playing on a round or larger dining table? A square mat still works: place it in the center so each player's rack sits on the mat.

Neoprene or rubber?

• Neoprene mats are soft and cushioned, quiet the tiles well and roll or fold easily.
• Rubber mats are heavier, lie flat and grip the table. Many have a printed fabric top over a rubber backing.
