Every watch we sell is a genuine, brand-new Timex, sealed and boxed with the manufacturer’s papers. Each one carries the standard Timex manufacturer’s limited warranty, and ERAFAV helps you use it.
This is the Timex manufacturer’s warranty, not an ERAFAV warranty. ERAFAV does not sell or add an extended warranty of its own. The coverage described below is provided by the manufacturer, Timex Group USA, Inc. What ERAFAV does is help you make a claim: we point you to the right process and support you through it.
What the manufacturer warranty covers
Your Timex watch is covered by the standard Timex manufacturer’s limited warranty, which generally runs 1 year from the date of purchase and protects against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.
Because every watch we ship is authentic, factory-fresh, and includes the manufacturer’s warranty papers, that coverage applies from the day your order is delivered. Keep your ERAFAV order confirmation and the papers in the box as proof of purchase.
What the warranty does not cover
Like any manufacturer’s limited warranty, it does not cover everyday use, accidents, or wear over time. Specifically, it does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, including scratches, scuffs, and general aging of the case or finish.
- Battery replacement.
- Crystal or strap/band damage.
- Water damage from use outside the watch’s rated water resistance.
- Any damage from misuse, unauthorized repairs, or opening the case.
If you are unsure whether an issue is a defect or ordinary wear, email us and describe it — we will give you an honest answer before you go through a claim.
How to make a warranty claim through ERAFAV
If you think your watch has a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, here is how to get help:
- Email us at support@erafav.com with your order number and a short description of the problem. Include a photo or short video of the fault if you can — it usually speeds things up.
- We review your details and confirm whether the issue is covered by the Timex manufacturer’s warranty. You will hear back within 1 business day.
- We guide you through the claim and, where the manufacturer’s process requires it, help you submit the watch and your proof of purchase for evaluation or service.
Manufacturer service timelines and any repair-versus-replace decision are set by Timex, not by ERAFAV. We stay involved and follow up so you are not left chasing it alone.
Faulty or damaged on arrival? That’s on us, not the warranty
Warranty claims are for defects that appear during ownership. If your watch instead arrives damaged or faulty, the wrong item is sent, or your order does not arrive within 30 days of dispatch, you do not need a warranty claim at all. Contact us within 30 days with your order number (and a photo for damage or a fault) and we arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
You also have 30 calendar days from delivery to request a return for any reason. The watch must be unworn and in original condition with all packaging, tags, and papers. Returns are free — we send a prepaid label, there is no restocking fee, and refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days of us receiving the watch.
Our support commitment
We are a small U.S. team and we answer our own email. Every message is answered within 1 business day. Support hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm Mountain Time, by email at support@erafav.com (we do not operate a phone line at this time). Whether the answer is a manufacturer warranty claim, a free return, or a straightforward replacement, we will tell you which path applies and help you through it.
A note on trademarks and independence
ERAFAV is an independent U.S. online retailer of genuine, brand-new Timex watches. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by Timex Group USA, Inc. We do not sell replicas, used, refurbished, or grey-market goods. TIMEX and all Timex product and collection names are trademarks of Timex Group USA, Inc.; they are used here only to describe the genuine products we sell. The manufacturer’s warranty is provided by Timex under its own terms.
